PMMA/ABS chemical resistant board is a high-performance engineering plastic board made by compounding PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate) and ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene copolymer) through multi-layer co extrusion process. It has excellent acid and alkali resistance, oil and grease resistance, and solvent corrosion resistance, and is widely used in chemical equipment, medical equipment, food processing, outdoor construction and other scenarios that require high material stability.

Core Features

Strong chemical corrosion resistance: It can withstand soaking in acidic and alkaline solutions with a pH range of 2-12 for more than 24 hours, with a mass change of ≤ 0.5%. It has good stability especially for ethanol, dilute inorganic acids, salts, and oils.

High surface hardness and gloss: The PMMA surface provides a wear-resistant surface with a pencil hardness of 2H or more, a gloss of ≥ 92%, and is not prone to yellowing or loss of gloss after long-term use.

Excellent impact resistance: The ABS intermediate layer endows the board with high toughness, which can maintain good impact resistance even at low temperatures of -40 ℃ and is not easy to crack.

Outstanding weather resistance: After undergoing QUV UV accelerated aging testing for 500 hours, the color difference Δ E is ≤ 3, making it suitable for long-term outdoor use. Its UV resistance performance is 30% -50% higher than that of ordinary ABS.

Environmental safety: Compliant with RoHS environmental standards, non-toxic and odorless, some products have passed FDA certification, and can be used as casings for food contact equipment.
